On any given day, 100 million Americans are taking some stimulant, anti depressant, tranquilizer, or painkiller; smoking; inhaling from aerosol cans or glue bottles; or self medicating with alcohol or illegal substances like marijuana, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamines, hallucinogens, Ecstasy, and other designer drugs. The cost? An estimated trillion dollars a year.
Our mission at ODAT is to:
• Promote the neglected story of the joys of recovery.
• Provide information about how people recover and what resources are available.
• Develop programs and come alongside other programs that are dealing hope in place of addictive substances, focusing especially on teenagers, veterans and prison inmates to help them access spiritual and medical resources they need and HOPE
