Our Future

Our Promising Future

We are engaged in a vital cause with readily perceived potential benefits—the reduction of substance abuse and other addictions, especially those affecting children and college age young adults, veterans and prison inmates.

We began our journey in Little Rock in 2004 with our One Day at a Time newspaper, believing that substance abuse is best addressed at the local level, first in the home and then in the community.

Within a year we added a web site, believing, too, that ultimately it would be our principal means of communication, flexible enough to reach both local and global audiences. For us, that time has come.

In the fall of 2011, we stopped publishing the paper and are focusing now on the use of 21st century marketing strategies and media, including book publishing, to reach our audiences. Our first book about recovery, Pathways to Serenity, is now available for purchase on this web site.
